Hahaha, you chuckle knowingly. Cue the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Internationale\">Internationale<\/a>. Right?<\/p>\n<p>Wrong. Because Comrade Food is made in Taiwan.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;What&#8230;?&#8221; You say.<\/p>\n<p>Look, on the jar it says it&#8217;s made in <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Taizhong\">Taizhong City<\/a>. (It&#8217;s hard to see in this blurry photo, but there it is.) Now, Taizhong is hardly known to be a hotbed of camaraderie. But then again, &#8220;comrade&#8221; means <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Comrade\">something else<\/a> on the renegade island, namely, &#8220;gay&#8221;. Well, whatever.
